My vision for Melancthon's future
My platform is built on a foundation of experience, dedication, and a deep commitment to our community. Learn about my promises for Melancthon and how I plan to lead us forward.

Protecting our resources and building sustainably
My re-election as mayor for Melancthon is centered on protecting our invaluable agricultural resources. I am committed to fostering a sustainable community that thrives for generations to come. I will do this by continuing to be a strong advocacy voice for change to the Aggregate Resources Act, and a strong voice at the Ontario Land Tribunal. Protection of our WATER is key. I ask council to institute strong protections and start these through a LEAR study (Land Evaluation and Area Review) process which will help strengthen our Official Plan, and direct growth to appropriate areas. We will focus on strong, resilient, and reliable infrastructure, ensuring our community can grow responsibly while preserving its natural beauty.

Promoting economic growth and safe communities
I will actively promote economic development within Melancthon and across Dufferin County. My platform also prioritizes supporting safe, livable communities for all residents. This includes enhancing road safety, diligently protecting our precious water resources, and preserving our cherished parks and green spaces. Fiscal responsibility will remain a cornerstone, protecting your tax dollars and ensuring wise spending.

Experienced leadership for Melancthon's challenges
My extensive experience serving on council in Melancthon and Dufferin County, alongside my involvement with the Western Ontario Wardens Caucus (WOWC) and my education in Environmental Science, provides me with the drive, knowledge, and experience necessary to tackle coming challenges. I am uniquely positioned to address threats to our land and water from aggregate pits and quarries, ensuring our community's well-being.
